About Us

Our Story and Philosophy

Good partnerships require effort and commitment. Twenty years in, Joe Scaretta and Moses Carrasco have excelled at putting in the work while building leaders and creating high performing teams. As founding partners of Vision Infrastructure Solutions, Joe and Moses are joined by partners Desiree Russo and Rob Baird.

This well-respected team operates within industry gaps. Vision was created to enhance service delivery of three highly skilled trades including fire suppression, vertical transportation, and material handling. Recognizing that within the current industry model these trades are underserviced and overpriced, Vision launched with the mission to offer a enhanced level of transparency, responsiveness, and technical excellence while setting a higher standard — one that transforms what clients expect from infrastructure service partners.

Humble Beginnings

In the early years of their career, being in the right place at the right time brought two aspiring entrepreneurs together. Joseph Scaretta and Moses Carrasco first crossed paths as account managers at a small retail facilities and construction firm, both earning a modest $26,500 salary.

As the two got to know each other, their complementary skills began to emerge: Joe an intuitive strategist and innovator with a high level of focus on customer experience and Moses as master craftsman and natural process guru. With shared drive and curiosity as a springboard, they seized the opportunity to take on more responsibility — diving into all aspects of the business, from account management and finance to customer service and project management, while also working off-hours service calls and minor projects to over-deliver to their clients and gain expertise.

As the long hours and extra workload without the chance of upward growth became evident, the two decided to take the leap and set out on their own. Their first venture, Empire Facilities, came to life with pooled resources for office space and technology, along with some good ol’ sweat equity and perseverance.

From the start, Joe and Moses instinctively knew to prioritize timely payment to vendors and development of their team, foreshadowing their DNA as people-first entrepreneurs. They quickly got to work, often literally themselves to save money, building their business to ensure they could stand on those principles. As Empire grew, Joe and Moses sought investors to help ensure the company's continued growth.

Navigating the realm of private equity provided invaluable lessons regarding their future.
They planned their next move with the benefit of understanding how their vision differed from many players in the facility management sector. They were disruptors with a stalwart business philosophy: people-first culture; ongoing commitment to team education and development; customer-driven strategy; and an ear to the ground, finding the gaps within the industry, always ready to evolve.

Applying what they learned from their first business and private equity partnership, Joe and Moses made a bold decision: selling the business and starting from scratch. Leaving their successful team, organization, and a healthy salary was both humbling and challenging. With their trademark grit and the knowledge they'd gained along the way, they founded and grew, CS Hudson into a highly reputable, award-winning facilities management firm.

Beginning as account managers through today as longtime partners and friends, their nimble approach and uncompromising ethos have set Joe and Moses apart from the crowd. From startups to Fortune 500s, companies across the country have enlisted this duo to transform their businesses. Joe and Moses are most proud of earning the label "trusted advisor."

Their commitment goes beyond the business. Community involvement is an indelible part of who they are. Deeply invested in social responsibility, Joe and Moses have created, developed, and founded multiple social responsibility programs that support strong communities, inspire young minds, and provide relief when disasters strike. Looking forward, their goal is to continue challenging the status quo, doing business differently as visionaries and being good stewards of the communities they serve.
